Abstract

This research aimed to determine the relationship between computer forensics with the quality of service of the computer center of the Universidad Tecnológica de los Andes. A study with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design was carried out; The population was made up of the administrative staff of the information technology office, computer center, teachers, and students of the last semester of the professional school of systems and computer engineering; The sample consisted of 100 respondents: 35 students, 51 teachers and 14 administrators. The results show how computer forensics is significantly related to service quality, but very weakly among the variables, that is, the data preservation dimension with reliability through inverse and weak correlation, while data preservation with responsiveness, accessibility with responsiveness correlates weakly, but positively. It was concluded that computer forensics can help improve the quality of service, identify, solve, and prevent information security incidents within the office of the computer center.
