WELL-POSEDNESS FOR A LINEAR THERMOELASTIC SYSTEM WITH PERIODIC BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

Abstract

This article is concerned with the study of the solutions of a linear thermoelastic system. It is shown that the initial value problem is well-posed in periodic Sobolev spaces *Ecuation*,in the sense that we establish global existence and uniqueness theorems for this system. Moreover, the solution has an expansion with exponentially decaying Fourier coefficients.
